Garage sale haul!

Well, this morning as I'm leaving for work I see that the old folks across the way are setting up for a weekend garage sale. So I walked over to chat to the old fuddy to see if he had anything worth the 4 bucks I had in my pocket.

** side note: These old folks are the original owners of almost all of the land that my sub is built on, and they still live in the same house. So picture this old, beat-down little black house amongst a bunch of huge new homes... it's a funny site. Since the old bagel made a fortune on the land all he does is walk around the neighborhood and pick up sticks and litter in peoples yards....oh, and gather information. The day that I moved into my house this old fart comes over and proceeds to tell me that the guy across the street from me drinks, 2 doors from him beats his wife, my neighbor's daughter is a slut and the guy next to him can't afford the house that he's in and is going to have to sell.... needless to say, I keep my blinds shut, windows closed and hold any even-mild argument with my wife in the basement for fear that he'll have me pegged as abusive to the neighbors before we even finish arguing! **

At any rate, this morning I went over to his garage sale and amongst the usual old crap that q-tips are selling I find Spawn 1, Midevil Spawn 1 and Violator 1 all MIP!!!

I asked what he wanted for them and he said 5 bucks each. Since I only had 4 total on me I bartered him down by exchanging info that the Asian guy next to me is breeding rabits in a pen in his back yard that he probably eats, the slut got pregnant and aborted the baby and the drinker is also into Hillbilly Heroin and pain killers.

So I got those 3 figs for 4 bucks! I just hope that my neighbors never find out that it was me who made up all that crap about them!!!!!
